Rafferty Fry Shines on the World Stage

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate one of our talented junior members, Rafferty Fry, who recently represented Harleyford at the prestigious Daily Mail World Junior Golf Championships in Marbella.

Competing against some of the very best young golfers from around the world at Villa Padierna, Rafferty made a fantastic start—finishing day one inside the top five. Day two brought tougher conditions and a shift in momentum, seeing him drop outside the top 20 and facing an uphill challenge going into the final round.

What followed was a remarkable display of resilience and determination. Showing maturity well beyond his years, Rafferty produced an outstanding final round to fight his way back up the leaderboard, finishing just outside the top ten in the world—an incredible achievement at this level.

A special thank you goes to Jon Jones, whose inspirational words ahead of the final day clearly made an impact, helping Rafferty reset, refocus, and deliver such a strong performance when it mattered most.

To take on—and compete so impressively against—the world’s best junior players is no small feat. Rafferty’s performance is a testament to his hard work, attitude, and potential, and we’re all excited to see what the future holds.
