Harleyford Irrigation Project

The Harleyford Irrigation Project continues to make excellent progress, with around 90% of the mainline pipework now installed, including the valve boxes. This represents a major milestone in the project and brings us very close to completing this phase of the installation.

Progress was briefly paused last week after the team identified the water main feeding the lodges, which required some careful investigation to ensure everything was managed safely. We expect to have the remaining section of mainline completed this week, allowing us to move seamlessly into the next stage of work.

Our plan is to begin installing the lateral pipework this week, starting on the 8th hole as scheduled. To allow this to happen safely and efficiently, we may need to close the hole temporarily for the remainder of the week while this work takes place.

The weather has certainly taken a turn, but despite the more challenging conditions, the team will continue to do their best to limit plant movement and reduce disruption around the course. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we keep pushing forward with this important investment for the Club’s future.
