Contractors Arrive on Site - Harleyford Irrigation Project

An exciting step for the Harleyford Irrigation Project as our contractors have now officially arrived on site. Their first task has been to bring in equipment, establish welfare facilities for staff, and ensure everything is ready for a full launch in October.

With preparations now well underway, the team has been busy inspecting water supplies and discharge routes to confirm everything is in order before the installation begins. This is an important step to make sure the project runs smoothly from day one.

The early stages of work will focus on installing the main lines, with much of this activity concentrated around the 4th hole, where the pipes will branch off and begin to connect across the course. These first few months are crucial in laying the foundations for the new system.

This week also marked the arrival of the first of many lorry loads of materials and machinery, signalling the start of a busy period ahead. With each delivery, the reality of this major investment becomes more tangible – and we are now firmly on the countdown to breaking ground.
