Club Update

New Tee Markers

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed the new handicap table on the first tee displaying different tee colours to the ones on the course. This is because in summer, along with England Golf guidance, the Club will be changing our tee colours to become gender neutral. The idea behind this is to distance ourselves from the stereotypical 'men's' and 'ladies' tees, and to allow players to play from different tee boxes based on their ability rather than their gender.

These new tee markers have been ordered in honour of Rob Newcombe, whose memorial day in April raised an amazing £4524.00. My thanks go out to every member who attended and/or donated towards Rob's day.

EuroPro Volunteering

There are still plenty of spots available for members to volunteers during the EuroPro event. This is always a great week and each year volunteering proves extremely popular. Members can sign up on the clubhouse noticeboard or email the Pro Shop. A list of all the volunteering roles can be found here.

Titleist Club Fitting

On Monday 16th May, Titleist are hosting a Club Fitting up the driving range. There are 5x 45 minute slots remaining between 11:00 and 15:00, with each session focusing on one specific area of the bag (woods, irons or wedges). Spots are expected to go quickly so please sign up ASAP by emailing the Pro Shop with your preferred time and area of the bag you wish to be fitted for.

Team Kit

As the season has now started, the Pro Shop are taking orders for team kit. Like always, this seasons Men’s kit will be Footjoy and this seasons Ladies kit will be Glenmuir. If you would like to order a team shirt or jumper, please email the Pro Shop no later than 15th May. Please include quantity of each item required as well as size.

Kind Regards,
