25th Anniversary Celebrations

Good Evening,

For those of you who do not know, Harleyford Golf Club is fast approaching its 25th Birthday!

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a week-long set of celebrations from Thursday, 1st July 2021 until Wednesday 7th July 2021.

The celebrations will include:

- A series of Aniversary Competitions with a £250.00 prize,

- Food & Drink Special Offers for the entire week,

- Photo display of Harleyford through its history,

- A chance to get your hands on a piece of Harleyford memorabilia,

Anniversary Competitions

From Thursday, 1st July until Wednesday, 7th July there will be all day competitions for members to  enter.

These will all be mixed Stableford and will be available to enter all day. The existing competition times, the ‘Ladies Thursday’ and ‘Seniors Monday’ will also encompass the anniversary competitions. Players can enter on as many days as they wish.

The cost will be £5.00 entry per day. 95% Handicap allowance and all rounds count towards WHS handicap index. 

Prizes will be issued for daily competitions. There will be a overall winner of the seven which will be determined by a Best in Series. This consists the players best two scores out of how many all the anniversary rounds they play. The best in series winner will become the Harleyford 25th Anniversary Winner and receive a payment of £250.00 on their levy as well as a unique 25th-Anniversary Trophy!

Food & Drink Specials

For the seven days of celebrations, the kitchen will be providing special meal options with the option to add a drink for only £12.50!

The specials will be posted nearer the time, but please come down and make the most of them.

Photo Display of Harleyford

Any members who have old photos of Harleyford (not quite black and white) please send them, or drop them into Leah.

She will take a copy of them and display them throughout the week. The photos can be of the course, clubhouse, people playing golf; anything to do with Harleyford’s history!

Harleyford Memorabilia

We will be minting special 25th Anniversary coins within a leather tote bag to mark this very special occasion. Please see below the proof of the coins:

             These coins are limited edition and are available to members for only £15.00!

If you would like to get your hands on one, please email Leah who will arrange this for you. The cost will come off your levy when the coins arrive.
