Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus Update

Dear Member,

As days go on, we are attempting to keep on top of the new guidance that is being issued by the Government and World Health Organisation (WHO) regarding Coronavirus.

Unless we receive direct instruction to the contrary, the Golf Course at Harleyford will remain open and accessible for all members and guests to enjoy. Golf is an outdoor sport that can be enjoyed in the fresh air and should be classed as a safe method for members to stay active. Golf should be encouraged, and at Harleyford we have made amendments (link below) to our day-to-day running of business so you can continue to enjoy your golf whilst staying safe.

We would however request that any members who show early symptoms of the virus, or who have close family or friends with whom they have been in contact recently, who have been diagnosed with the virus to follow Government guidelines and not to visit the Club for at least 14 days.

Up to date information for the general public regarding Coronavirus can be found on the Government website:

Up to date information regarding the virus itself and how to prevent it can be found on the NHS website:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

As well as the points listed below, I would remind members of the importance of regularly washing your hands with soap and water, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and disposing of any tissues when used.

Lastly, should any members have any questions or concerns regarding Harleyford or any of the points raised within this update, please contact me via email.

Stay Safe,

Jack Slade
