THE ANNUAL PAST CAPTAINS’ GOLF AND DINNER

The Annual Past Captains’ Golf and Dinner took place on 7th August, bringing together many familiar faces for this much-anticipated occasion in the Club calendar.

It was a pleasure to welcome back former Men’s and Women’s Captains for an enjoyable round of golf, followed by dinner, presentations and the opportunity to catch up with old friends.

Twenty-five Past Captains and partners took part in the golf competition, which was played in excellent spirit. Congratulations go to Ian Baines, who emerged as this year’s winner.

The celebrations continued into the evening, when 39 Past Captains and partners sat down together for dinner and the presentations. It was especially pleasing to see so many people able to join us, including several who had travelled considerable distances to return to Harleyford for the occasion.

We missed those who were unable to attend this year and very much hope they will be able to join us when the event returns next year.

Our sincere thanks go to the chefs and the wider team, who did us proud with a splendid dinner and helped make the entire occasion such an enjoyable and memorable one.
