Mixed Invitation Raises £827 for Sport in Mind

On Thursday 23rd July, we were delighted to welcome 56 players for our Mixed Invitation, with 10 men joining us for the event—the first mixed invitation we've held for quite some time. Played in glorious sunshine, it proved to be a fantastic day both on and off the course.

Congratulations to our winners, Claire Hunt and her guests, who produced an outstanding score of 97 points to take the title.

A huge thank you goes to Donna Gerard, Sue Vandenberge and Elena Connary for running the ever-popular halfway house, complete with a wonderful selection of homemade cakes kindly baked by our fantastic Women's Section. Thanks also to Ali Baxter for managing the raffle, Lesley James and Sue Cooke for organising the popular pre-loved clothing sale, and Sarah Deriaz for running the fun indoor putting competition.

Thanks to everyone's generosity and support, we raised an incredible £827 for our Captains' Charity, Sport in Mind.

Finally, thank you to Sarah, the Pro Shop team, Vicky and her team, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured the day ran so smoothly. It was another superb event and a wonderful example of the fantastic community spirit at Harleyford.
