We are delighted to confirm that the installation works for the new irrigation system are now fully completed, with only final snagging items remaining across the course. These are mainly minor finishing works including seeding, rolling, soil levelling and ongoing sprinkler adjustments following the major installation phase.
One of the biggest milestones is that we now have the ability to fully control and manage the irrigation system ourselves, giving us much greater flexibility and responsiveness when maintaining course conditions.
The final stage of the installation will be the addition of the new transfer pump into the reservoir, which we are hoping to have completed by the end of June. In the meantime, a smaller temporary transfer pump is currently doing an ok job, but the permanent pump will ensure we can fully utilise the capabilities and efficiency of the entire system moving forward.
We are all looking forward to the official launch of the new irrigation system on 2nd June 2026. If you haven’t already signed up for the launch event, please click here to sign up now.
With the system hopefully fully operational by the end of June, we are now hoping for a warm summer so we can really put the new system through its paces. This will play a huge role in preparing the golf course for the best possible conditions heading into the winter and into the 2027 summer.
Thank you to all members for your patience and support throughout the installation works. If anyone has any questions about the irrigation system or the ongoing works, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
