Couple of Reminders . . .

Good Morning,

Only one day left to go before another return to golf! I just wanted to remind you about a couple of points before everyone returns. 

SPECIAL MEMBERS GUEST OFFER

During the month of December, all members guest fees after 13.30hrs reduced to £20.00 on the basis that you will not be able to complete a full round. 

This will happen automatically for anyone who already has a tee time booked. The regular members guest rate of £32.50 applies at all other times. 

STAFF CHRISTMAS BOX

Whilst we appreciate that this has been a tough year for everyone, we will have the staff Christmas box on the bar again this year. Any contributions from the members are always greatly received and will be split between all of the staff including greenkeepers, bar, shop and kitchen staff.

SLOW PLAY

Due to the initial demand for golf from members, the tee sheet, for the first couple of weeks, is going to be fairly packed out. For this reason it is essential that everyone maintains speed of play on the course. Please ensure you keep pace with the group in front and where possible maintain the suggested round times printed on the scorecards for a 4Ball.

We only have limited amount of daylight currently so it is essential that we get as many people round the course in a timely fashion. Please click here for an interesting article by Golf Monthly regarding slow play.

HANDICAPS

I know a lot of you are still having issues with an incorrect handicap index. We are still waiting on England Golf to rectify this issue, which I was hoping was going to be sorted for tomorrow. However, in the likely event that it is not, please continue to enter scores as normal ignoring the index that is currently being shown and referring to the handicap you had prior to the error occurring. If you cannot remember what this was, you can look this up under the 'My Golf' section of the website. I apologise that this issue has still not been rectified however it is currently out of our hands.
