Coronavirus Update


Dear {FORENAME},

It has now been over a week since golf resumed and once again I would like to thank all the members for their co-operation for the safe return to golf. Another update for you this week, please take your time to read all the details carefully:

Tee Times

  • The tee booking system will remain for members and guests only and open 7 days in advance.
  • Due to popular demand we will be adding an extra eight slots at the end of the day from Monday, 25th May 2020. The new last tee time will be 19.00hrs.
  • Please try and pair up if you are by yourself. The office can help you with this.
     

Cancelling Tee Times

  • Due to the popularity of tee times, please only book tee times if you are sure you can make it.
  • Future booking restrictions will be imposed for anyone cancelling their tee times last minute or for no-shows. This is for the benefit of the entire membership. 
     

Clubhouse

  • The Clubhouse will be open from 7.00hrs till 21.00hrs from Monday, 25th May 2020.
  • Please remember ALL golfers must check in before playing.
     
  • Practice Facilities - Driving Range
  • From Friday, 22nd May 2020 the driving range will be open for members only.
  • All members will be limited to 50 balls a day.
  • There are only four bays in operation due to social distancing so members should be prepared to wait.
  • All members must collect tokens and baskets from the shop and return the baskets once used.
  • The range will only be open from 8.00hrs till 17.00hrs initially.
  • A strict 2M rule will remain in place at all times at Harleyford. Anyone found not adhering to the 2M rule will not be able to continue using the practice facilities. 
     

Practice Facilities - Chipping Green

  • From Friday, 22nd May 2020 the driving range will be open for members only.
  • Only four people are permitted on the chipping green at any one time, so please be prepared to wait if the demand is high. 
  • All members must report to the shop prior to using the chipping green.
  • The chipping green will only be open from 8.00hrs till 17.00hrs initially.
  • A strict 2M rule will remain in place at all times at Harleyford. Anyone found not adhering to the 2M rule will not be able to continue using the practice facilities.
     

Practice Facilities - Putting Green

  • From Friday, 22nd May 2020 the putting green will be open for members only.
  • The left hand side will be reserved for warm up prior to a tee time, the right hand side for general practice.
  • Only four people are permitted on the right hand side of the putting green at one time.
  • All members must report to the shop prior to using the putting green.
  • The putting green will close for general practice at 19.00hrs. 
  • A strict 2M rule will remain in place at all times at Harleyford. Anyone found not adhering to the 2M rule will not be able to continue using the practice facilities.

  • To avoid the need to unnecessarily touch scorecards, remember you can score easily on your smart phone. Simply click here and follow these instructions. 
     

Membership Introduction Bonus

Just a reminder to all members that there is a £150 levy bonus for any successful introductions of full members. Simply ask the new member to put you down as their referral on their application form.

All points above are to help us protect our staff, members and the UK general public. They will be reviewed on a regular basis in line with advice from England Golf and the Government.

We would request that any members who show early symptoms of the virus, or who have close family or friends with whom they have been in contact recently, who have been diagnosed with the virus to follow Government guidelines and not to visit the Club for at least 14 days.

As well as the points listed below, I would remind members of the importance of regularly washing your hands with soap and water, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and disposing of any tissues when used.
